A truth I want to share with you

June 20, 2008 by kevinabdulrahman

What I am going to say is going to astound you

It will shock you

It will upset you

I have been known to upset a few people for being straight forward but the reality is I would rather hurt your feelings and tell you the truth rather than sugar coat it.  I would rather you learn it from me than take 30 years of life experience to figure it out.

So here it is, a truth that may have you thinking all day.  A truth that may leave you sleepless tonight, twisting and turning in bed thinking about one statement I’m about to make.

So without further ado, here is a truth that I want to share with you.

You KNOW that you can do better in life.  You KNOW this.

This is how the whole concept of complaining even works.  You know that you could be a better person.  You know you can have a better life.  You know you can live a better life, and yet you are not, that’s why you complain.

Think about it.  If you already lived the best you could possibly be, then you could not complain, because you would have nothing better to compare it with.  The reason you complain is because you are comparing where you are with where you could and in fact should be.

Next time you find yourself complaining, take a few minutes to think about what actions are you taking to achieve the results you currently have?

Then ask yourself, what actions do you need to take to get the results you want?  All you have to do is simply do the actions that will give you your ultimate results and you will not complain as much.  You will have the life you truly deserve.

Kevin Abdulrahman on Taking Action

June 20, 2008 by kevinabdulrahman

Taking Action

When I have an idea, I take action

When someone suggests I do something, I take action

When I want to achieve a goal, I take action

When I have a task to accomplish, I take action.

When I am told something is not possible, I take action.

You name it, I take action.

Am I special?  Absolutely not.  I simply take action.

When most people are so concerned about getting things perfect, I take action and work on perfecting the mistakes along the way.

What am saying is there is no point having a Ferrari and letting it stay parked to gather dust.

They say that you will find the most million dollar ideas in a cemetery.  Why? Because those who had it never did anything with it. They missed a critical step  Taking ACTION.

Life rewards only those who take action, not those who know the most.

How many times have you heard of people who simply rocketed past you.  They didn’t have your talent, they didn’t have your charisma, they didn’t have your knowledge or IQ, yet they are living the life you are dreaming of.

Chances are they have taken action!!!

Now you know, and now the question you must ask yourself is ‘When is NOW a good time to take ACTION?’

Kevin, why are you giving your Ferrari away?  www.WinOurFerrari.com

This is the first question everyone asks me.  I have friends of mine who have called me in excess of ten times asking if we are serious???

The answer is YES you better believe it or watch someone else drive in it.

“Let’s give our Ferrari away Kevin”

That was the first sentence that woke me up on a Sunday morning.  My brother Rami Abdulrahman woke up with an idea.  A CRAZY one!!!  After a bit of google search I can say that this is the first time someone is giving away their Ferrari in this context.

I always say that where you are in life is because of what you have nourished your mind.  What are you nourishing your mind?  HINT: Your results is an indication of it.  If you don’t like your results then you are in need of mind nourishment

I am determined to make a difference in people whilst having a great deal of fun in the process.  I am the author of THE BOOK™ on Winning The Game Of Life and in it I share what separates successful people from the masses.  I talk about The Secret Weapons used by those who are successful and it is a must know if you want  to increase the odds of winning the game of your life.

THE BOOK™ on Winning The Game Of Life is endorsed by experts in the field of personal growth such Dr. Denis Waitley, International Best Selling Author of “The Psychology of Winning”, Brian Tracy – Leading Self Development Author of The Way to Wealth, and Tom BIG AL Schreiter, Leading Network Marketing Expert.

So we thought we would mash things up.

We always have people joke with us saying ‘why are you driving my car?’ or ‘please return my car once you have taken it for a spin’.  Now we are giving one lucky reader the opportunity to do just that, take our Ferrari and make it theirs.

Check out the site, have a browse around and make the decision to invest in your mind by getting a copy of my book because for those who do so and TAKE ACTION, every purchase of the e-book or hard cover copy will give you a chance to win our Ferrari

May you win the game of your life.

Who should decide whether you are successful or not?

June 20, 2008 by kevinabdulrahman

Who should decide whether you are successful or not?

Your parents?

Your friends?

Your colleagues?

Your community?

Nop.

Society makes you think it is the perception people have of you that makes you successful.  Yet I know plenty of people who have what would make someone else feel successful, and they live a life of misery.  Success for my mother is seeing her three sons do well in life for themselves.  It is not money, it is not a flash house or the fastest car, and it is not shopping.  Her values are a tight knit family and the best for her sons.  To her that’s success.  For my partner, it is having a loving relationship.  Nothing else matters.  To her nothing matters if she is not in a loving relationship.  To have that is success.  For a friend of mine, it is means how many lattes she could fit in the day catching up with friends and discussing the latest fashion.  Other friends it’s the cars they drive, he houses they collect like baseball cards and where they are seen on a Friday night.  To some success is money in the bank, to others it is knowing you have people who will stick with your through thick or thin.  For some it is in the stuff they have, others it’s in all the relationships they have built.

With that in mind, I ask the question again, who should decide whether you are successful or not?

YOU… and only you.

Do what makes you happy.  You should never do something for what others would think of you.  Success is a race with you as your only competitor.  Life is a game and to be successful (what ever that means to you) is to win the game of your life.

Always remember, you are the person that decides whether you are successful or not.

May you Win Your Game Of Life.

How to get your message across and make loads of $$$

June 20, 2008 by kevinabdulrahman

If you are in any business or a working environment, your success will come down to how well you can communicate your message across to the other party.  If you are in business, you want to be able to get your message across to get a deal, and hence make $$$.

Who makes all the $$$?

The person that can get their message across successfully to their respective parties effectively communicated successfully get the sale and hence the $$$

Here is a truth.  We all know people who try and fail miserably.  We have people that try to bombard us with messages of what they have to say.  They come across as pushy and we already tuned to a different station ten seconds into their speech.  These people we tend to avoid and I know you do it too J

In reality, we all have messages to convey and only very few get it across the line to make the real $$$ financially speaking.

Yet one concept can change all this.  You can go from the person everyone avoids to the person everyone wants to hear form.  When more people want to hear from you then your price tag goes up.  Think of all successful people in what ever field that interests you, from Presidents to Door knockers, this concept applies.

Once you learn this, things will never be the same again.  You will be hitting home runs with your messages.  You will be known for becoming so good at what you do and the $$$ will start to flow in.

So what is this one concept that can bring all this change?

Glad you are asking the right question

Successful people understand the concept of sharing vs telling.  When everyone else is so worried about telling you about their message, successful people share their message.  It is a very small point, yet one that could change everything.

We as adults don’t like to be told what to do.  Remember how it felt when your mother would tell you what to do?  That’s how most people feel when you tell them rather than share with them.  Even a five year old doesn’t like to be told what to do.  Go on try it.  Notice how they respond when you tell a child to do something?

They tend to go and do the opposite

The reaction is usually far from positive.

What I find extremely effective is simply sharing what I know.  I even state in my communications with anyone that I am merely sharing my thoughts.  When you mention that you are sharing your thoughts, people’s guards are down.  They do not feel that you are trying to persuade them, because you are not and shouldn’t be doing so directly in the first place.  Your aim should always be to inform.  Once informed, everyone is entitled to make their own decision.  If your information is strong and has facts to support it, then people will come to your way of thinking and take your message on board.  What could that mean to your relationships?  How can this one point affect the flow of $$$ coming into your account?

I am passionate about my message.  I always mention in my workshops that I am merely facilitating the information I’ve learned to make a difference and inspire individuals.  I am merely sharing it.  No matter how passionate I am about something, my comments should always go on the table of your mind and you can choose what to take on board and what to leave.  What you do with what you learn, what you analyse, over analyse and do with what is shared, is up to you.

Practice the concept of sharing.  You will find the following happen

1) You will feel lighter.  No pressure to sell what ever it is you are selling, even if it is your opinion. All you have to do is practice to communicate openly.

2) People will want to hear from you when they know you are merely sharing your thoughts.

3) More will decide to listen to your message if it makes sense (and has facts to support it) will take it on board.

4) Watch the $$$ pile up

Remember, it is very important that you understand that I am coming from a place of sharing rather than telling.  This post is now on the table of your mind.  It is up to you to take it or leave it.
